Wonderful stay right at the heart of the ghats!
I chose to stay at Ganga Lahari during my trip to Haridwar and I must say, it was a fantastic decision. The hotel's location is unbeatable, situated right next to the Har ki Pauri ghat and the main market lane. It was so convenient to be just a short walk away from the Ganga aarti.
The restaurant at the hotel served delicious food. Although I opted for the a-la-carte menu instead of the buffet, I was impressed with the taste and quality of the dishes.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Haridwar, located right on the banks of the majestic Ganga River. The location was absolutely ideal, with easy access to the famous Har ki Pauri ghat and the bustling marketplace nearby. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a lovely glazed balcony where I could enjoy the vibrant scene outside. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist with any requests, whether it was for laundry service or room service for some delicious ice cream. The attention to detail and personalized service truly made me feel like a valued guest. The breakfast offered limited options, but was served with care and the food was delicious. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I ever visit Haridwar in the future.
All in all, everything was more than satisfactory during my stay.

The hotel has an unbeatable location by the riverside. It's perfect for taking a holy dip in the Ganga and is reputed as safe to do so. The hotel also offers escorted tours to Mansa Devi temple and Har Ki Pauri ghat for the daily Aarti ceremony. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with great views of the river. The friendly staff is always ready to help, and the breakfast is tasty.
Some staff members were reported to be conmen and had banking-related issues.

We loved the location of this hotel, as it was right on the river and a short walk to the market. The staff were very friendly and provided useful information about tourist spots in this city. The hotel facilities were great, particularly the roof top restaurant with live music. Additionally, we found it safe to take a dip in the river.
Couldn't fault anything about this hotel.

Over this past Christmas we stayed at a hotel close to the river, which made it very convenient to stroll down for a morning walk. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the surrounding hills and mountains from the terrace, where we spent most of our time. The high tea and buffet breakfast were the highlights of our day, offering a great variety of food that was better than we had expected.
The furniture was quite old and worn out. Given the number of people taking part in the festivities, the hotel was very crowded, and we had to wait a while to be served.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, catering to the needs of every guest. The basic amenities are well-maintained, and the rooms offer a beautiful view of the Ganga ghat. Furthermore, the breakfast served, though with limited choices, is satisfying and starts the day off on a positive note.
This hotel leaves little room for improvement.

The best thing about this hotel is its fabulous location. Situated on the bank of the Ganga river, it offers breathtaking views and is conveniently close to all the nearby attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a lovely glazed balcony to enjoy the bustling scene outside. The staff at the reception were warm and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Plus, the escorted Ganga aarti was a fantastic bonus feature.
No major issues were encountered during our stay.

Spent Christmas at a hotel that offered amazing breakfast options and delightful dinner choices. The location was just a stone's throw away from the famous Ghat, which made catching the evening Aarti a breeze. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and kind, with ample parking space available for guests. Another plus point was the mesmerizing view of the river from the balcony.
We did face a few issues during our stay. the use of porters instead of rickshaws for commuting was tiring and cumbersome for some of us.
